Since insertion into an orbit around Saturn on 1 July, Cassini-Huygens has sent back impressive observations of the most complex planetary system we know.

On the eve of a close fly-by (1200 km) of Titan, Saturn’s big satellite, on 26 October, a TV Exchange provides a summary of results obtained so far, plus an outlook on the fly-by which will deliver truly spectacular images, in the morning hours of 27 October.

The results so far feature Cassini observations of Saturn’s rings, of its satellites including Titan, and of the planetary environment, notably the magnetic field.

The script will be on-line as of 21 October as a PDF document under http://television.esa.int/photos/EbS36583.pdf
