Houston, Texas (home of NASA's Johnson Space Center) and its surrounding suburbs are pictured from the International Space Station as it orbited 261 miles above the Lone Star State.
Also prominent in this photograph, are Galveston Bay and Galveston Island on the Gulf of Mexico.
