NOAA GOES SATOPS Morning Report - July 30, 2003  Day 211

DMSP 

All DMSP operations were nominal over the past 24 hours. 

POES 

NOAA-16 rev 14688 / F at 1454Z on July 29:  Executed commands to select the Gyro A Channels in both on-board processors. 

All POES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours. 

GOES 

At 1043Z on July 29, a GOES-12 frame break, four scans lost, was observed and attributed to loss of signal synchronization. 

At 2040Z on July 29, a GOES-10 frame break, four scans lost, was observed and attributed to high BER induced by storms. 

GOES-8 continues its westward drift at 1.06 deg/day.  The drift table with the estimated current position can be found at  http://www.oso.noaa.gov/goes/GOES-8_Drift_Table.txt

All GOES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
