The Mars500 crew is only two months from their 'arrival' and they are waiting for seeing the sunlight. In preparations for meeting the sunlight and to better understand the process how human brain reacts to variations of day and night and adjusts the sleep-wake cycle, the marsonauts are wearing red glasses and illuminating their modules with blue light. Diego gives a lecture about the photopigments of our eyes and an shows how the experiment is done. Life inside the Mars500 'spacecraft' is not only spending time and having fun - the main reason for the whole mission is science!
