Background information on the transmission:
In the night 15 to 16 November 2004, Smart-1 will pass into an orbit around the Moon to begin a global scientific investigation of the lunar surface.
The outcome of the manoeuvres to enter into a stable lunar orbit will be presented at a press briefing on 16 November 2004 at ESA/ESOC in Darmstadt (Germany).

Other speakers include Bernard Foing, ESA Chief Scientist, Giuseppe Racca, Smart-1 Project Manager, and Giorgio Saccoccia, Head of Propulsion Division.
Q&A will start at approx. 07:40 GMT.
