Canadian Space Agency Astronaut Steve MacLean to Host Virtual Classroom Across Canada

Canadian Space Agency Astronaut Steve MacLean will serve as special guest educator as he hosts students from across Canada during a Virtual Classroom presentation on November 13, 2002.

Both the English morning session and French afternoon session will cover the topic of Structures in Space. There are a total of 8 host sites for the sessions, connected either via computer network or satellite, from Newfoundland, Quebec, Ontario and Alberta. In all, over 350 students will participate in these 2-hour interactive sessions. In addition, the Mayors of each host city have been invited to attend.
