Space Tango Welcomes Director of Strategic Engagement and External Affairs

Space Tango today announced the hiring of Cindy Martin-Brennan as the Director of Strategic Engagement and External Affairs. Martin-Brennan is a leader in government relations and stakeholder communications with 35 years of professional experience in the aerospace industry.

Martin-Brennan will lead stakeholder engagement and strategic communications, including the provision of high-quality and responsive information for Space Tango partners. She will also develop and implement collaborative stakeholder engagement plans from strategic, tactical, and operational perspectives. In addition, Martin-Brennan will advise the alignment of programs and initiatives to ensure the execution of the Space Tango vision.

Previously, Martin-Brennan served as the Director of Stakeholder Management at the International Space Station National Laboratory, formerly the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS), where she led the development and implementation of strategic plans to engage stakeholders including government agencies, industry and academia. She also served as an ISS National Laboratory representative through a variety of panels, whitepapers, and roundtable discussions on Capitol Hill. Prior to this, Martin-Brennan served as the Executive Director for the American Society for Gravitational and Space Research (ASGSR) where she implemented operational strategies and partnerships that established the society as a leader in space policy contributions and fostered the exchange of ideas between scientists and engineers to advance biological and physical science research and development in, of and for space.
