For the seventh time since 2011, the Space Foundation has been designated by The NonProfit Times and Best Companies Group as among the Best Nonprofit Organizations To Work For in the United States, ranking 39th best overall.
The Space Foundation has made the Best Nonprofits To Work For list every time it has been screened, including in 2011, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.
The Nonprofit Times partnered with Best Companies Group to identify nonprofit organizations that have excelled in creating quality workplaces for employees. This survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the 50 best employers in the nonprofit industry, benefiting the industry's economy, workforce, and businesses.
Nonprofits from across the United States entered the two-part survey process to determine Best Nonprofits to Work For. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated organization's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data, and determined the ranking.
The Space Foundation employs 77 people nationwide, with 69 team members at its headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colo. Learn more about Space Foundation programs and employment opportunities at www.spacefoundation.org. See the 2020 Best Nonprofits To Work For rankings list at https://www.
