Explore Mars, Inc. is proud to announce that Artemis Westenberg, President of Explore Mars, will be a keynote speaker at the international conference on Emerging Novelties and Vistas in Space Technologies and Applications (ENVISTA-2015) in Chennai, India.

ENVISTA-2015, organized by Sathyabama University in collaboration with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), will be held from December 3-5, 2015. The conference will be a forum for the presentation of new advances in both theoretical and experimental research. It will also seek to establish an effective platform for the sustainable development of space technology and for the further expansion of international information sharing.

"India has been launching spacecraft since 1975, culminating with the successful Mars Orbiter Mission of 2013-14", said Ms. Westenberg. "Explore Mars hopes that India will be part of an International venture that will send humans to Mars."

ENVISTA will feature senior officials, engineers, and scientists from numerous nations and will highlight many of the ambitious space exploration plans currently being devised in India and in Asia as a whole.

"As momentum builds for international missions to land humans on Mars, we believe that ENVISTA-2015 will be a tremendous opportunity to engage India and other nations regarding the value and feasibility of the exploration of Mars beginning in the early 2030s", commented Explore Mars CEO, Chris Carberry.
