"I am delighted to welcome Sean to the Center," said John J. Hamre, president, CEO, and the Pritzker Chair at CSIS. "He has led some of the world's largest and most complex organizations as well as being an exemplary servant to his country. His experience will be immensely useful as we seek solutions to the world's most intractable problems."
Sean O'Keefe served as a Presidential appointee confirmed by the Senate on four separate occasions, most recently as the 10th Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). He has also served as Chief Financial Officer of the Defense Department, Deputy Director of the Office of Management and Budget as well as the 69th Secretary of the Navy.
Mr. O'Keefe served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Airbus Group Inc., a global leader in aerospace, defense and space services.
