Heads of Space Agencies Discuss Current Projects and Future Plans

At the 63rd International Astronautical Congress currently being held in Naples, Italy, the opening plenary featured eight heads of space agencies. They discussed current projects, future plans, international cooperation and answered questions from the audience.

Represented were:

- Charles Bolden, Administrator, NASA
- Yafeng Fu, Coordination Committee for International Cooperation, China National Space Administration (CNSA)
- Sergei Saveliev, Deputy Head, Roscosmos, Russia
- Enrico Saggese, President, Italian Space Agency (ASI)
- Jean-Jacques Dordain, Director General, European Space Agency (ESA)
- Steve MacLean, President, Canadian Space Agency (CSA)
- P.S. Veeraraghavan, Council Vice-Chairman, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)
- Keiji Tachikawa, President, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)
