Hearing: A Review of Sexual Harassment and Misconduct in Science

TUESDAY, February 27, at 10 a.m. EST, the U.S. House Science, Space, and Technology Committee will hold a Subcommittee on Research and Technology hearing titled A Review of Sexual Harassment and Misconduct in Science. The purpose of the hearing is to review sexual harassment and other workplace misconduct in science, learn how science agencies and research institutions handle complaints and conduct training under current policy and law, assess the impact of harassment on women’s participation in science, and discuss recommendations for improving the complaint and resolution process as well as the culture in science.
