The United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs and the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the International Organizations in Vienna invite you to attend the screening of the documentary
"Gagarin, First in Space" on Monday 13 May 2013 at 12:00
This will be a pre-premiere of the documentary about the life and destiny of Yuri Gagarin, the first human to travel into outer space on 12 April 1961. The documentary will be screened in the presence of Yelena Y. Gagarina, the daughter of Yuri Gagarin, who was two years old when her father took off from Baikonur, Kazakhstan to take his historic, 108 minutes long flight into space. 108 minutes is also the duration of a documentary in the Russian language, with English Subtitles. The producer of the documentary, Oleg Kapanets, will also be present at the screening.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A session and a reception by the Russian Federation. VIC grounds passes are required.
