LOS ANGELES AIR FORCE BASE, El Segundo, Calif. -- The Global Positioning System IIF-4 mission launch team will host a media teleconference Tuesday, May 7, at 10:00 a.m. PDT to discuss the upcoming launch scheduled for May 15, from Space Launch Complex 41, Cape Canaveral Air Station, Fla.
Team members include Col. Ron Fortson, GPS IIF-4 mission director; Col. Steve R. Steiner, chief, GPS Space Systems Division; Lt. Col. Paul Konyha, commander, 45th Launch Support Squadron; Jan Heide, Boeing GPS IIF program director; and Mr. Tony Taliancich, director, Customer Program Office, United Launch Alliance.
The team will discuss details of this launch and will be available for questions.
