On March 30, at 8:30 am, the George C. Marshall Institute will convene a workshop to begin examining the administration's proposed changes to NASA's space exploration plans.
Dr. Laurie Leshin, NASA Deputy Associate Administrator for Exploration, will discuss changes to the exploration program in a keynote speech, laying out in greater detail plans that have only been discussed at the highest levels.
Following her talk, the Institute will convene a panel of experts to consider the question of commercial human spaceflight, a cornerstone of the administration's plans for human spaceflight. Panelists will discuss such issues as: What is it? How do you implement it? What are its strengths? What are its weaknesses?
